Our premier service, Conversion/Guarantee, combines the protection of check guarantee with the convenience of check conversion, thereby providing merchants with virtually risk-free check acceptance and funds within 48 hours.

Check Guarantee Services

Check Guarantee is the most commonly used check service allowing the merchant to insure the face value of the check and protecting the merchant against checks written on non-sufficient funds. Merchants obtain electronic approval or voice authorization for the transaction and then deposit the checks. Checks that do not clear can be submitted to Nationwide for reimbursement. This reimbursement typically takes 2-4 weeks from the time of receipt of the original item, and is processed electronically via the ACH. It is sent under a specific category, so the merchant can identify that the credit is for a bounced item.

With Premium Approval, you'll have the highest approvals available. In fact, we guarantee it and will pay you to return to your previous guarantee provider if you don't agree. DISPUTED STOP PAYMENT PREMIUM (+ $ .02 per item) - Need protection against Disputed Stop Payment returns? Check out other programs and you'll find they don't cover disputes. We provide this service! Our coverage includes reimbursement on Disputed Stop Payments, often the most difficult to collect on. PARTIAL PAYMENT PREMIUM (+ $ .02 per item) - Give customers the option to pay by check and any other payment method: cash, credit card, debit card, whatever your store accepts. This premium may be just the edge you need to increase sales and customer satisfaction. COD PREMIUM (+ $ .02 per item) - Before you send out an order, authorize the check with us, then send out the order and collect the check knowing it's guaranteed. With this premium, your customers will be able to pay with a check-the preferred non-cash method of payment. INTEREST AND BANK FEE (+ $ .11 per item) - With this premium, we'll pay your bank fees and interest from the day the check was written until the day the claim is processed. PLUS SALES (+ 10% per item) - A stand-alone program designed to supplement a competitor's service, authorizing checks declined by the other provider.
